Wow, what a month...
I was sick all month, so sick. I'm back up and running though and it's all good! I just got home from the Susan Gilman Spring Show in MA, met lots of new friends and had a great time. I went for Paper House, taught a couple of classes and did a make and take "frenzy", lots of fun. I actually had lunch with the gals at Hero Arts (Jennifer McGuire has been my scrap idol forever and I finally got to meet her, she's so cute and sweet). Our make and take was right next to the amazing Mr. Tim Holz, that was very cool. I loved the fact that it was a smaller show so it was nice and you could actually chat with people, without being rushed. Nothing like CHA...very different.
Nothing to share right now but if you get a chance pop over to the Paper House blog, we're going to be giving away some of the kits that we just did the classes with, really cute stuff. I'll have some layouts to share very soon too....CX assignment time once again!
Oh....actually I do have a really sweet story to share with you. One of the ladies at the barn my daughter rides at is retiring her horse. He's had an amazing life, won some pretty big races. It was a very emotional day for her but she is going to retire him about an hour and a half away from the barn so she can still visit with him often. The owner of the barn actually called up the people that owned him before and asked if they would send some stuff for the retirement ceremony, they sent a ton of stuff including his lead rope and blanket from his last big win in 2000. It was so awesome to be a part of this, just a really nice story with such a happy ending. Here are a couple shots from the day;
